RABID DOG:

image

Rabid dog?! Blue eyes narrowed into a glare as she spoke about him as if he wasn’t standing there beside the other agent. If she wanted to see a rabid dog, he’ll SHOW HER ONE and he had every intention on lashing out at her until the agent standing beside him gave him a harsh glare and he nearly cowered.

Nearly.

His entire body went RIGID and he sidestepped away from the man, putting a bit of distance between them. He won’t do anything - not here, not in front of Claire. They didn’t want some people knowing what was done to him, they were afraid it would cause some trouble - Clarie was one of those people they didn’t want to know.

He’s still SORE from this mornings punishment. He’s still got injuries and bruises and bite marks hidden behind clothing. The LAST THING he wanted to do was given them a reason to punish him again.

He’ll wait till later to attack her if she pisses him off enough.

“I can fucking talk. I’m right here. Fuck. Shut the fuck up and let’s just go.” Steve hissed at her between clenched teeth. “And the name’s Ste-” He cuts himself off when the man next to him glared at him again. They don’t like him using the name that he liked and found so familiar yet didn’t know WHY. “…..Call me Captain. Not rabid dog.”

Her eyes flit to him, brief and BORED. Vulgar language that rears the memories of her last trainer before it’s pushed down and she turns away from him. Her focus LOST from him to the agent in front of her as she listens to the rest of her directions. Take the asset to the same base that she was planning to. Don’t bond - not that she could - don’t bother talking and if he misbehaves ( and she lives to tell ) report it to the base’s commander.

She nodded her head once before being dismissed. ❜  Regardless of your status as a RABID DOG or not, Captain, I suspect we should start moving. I don’t like being static. ❜  The word rolled off her tongue, laced with disgust. Static meant BEING DEAD for hawks, at least that’s what Swordsman taught her.

Her hand clenched into a fist as she walked, heels clacking on the floor. She hated heels, hated the feel but Hydra prefered her in heels. They wanted her to be like the ex-KGB Black Widow but Claire wouldn’t, couldn’t be like that. At least not willingly. ❜  So Captain       Oh yeah, no, can’t call you that. That’s like calling someone ‘daddy’; too sexual.  ❜  She barked a laugh, a mocking smile growing on her face.  Shaking her head, she turned an eye to him again, ❜  So Asset who’d you kill to be left in my LOVING hands?  ❜

She wasn’t used to being allowed to stay with other assets; Pierce said that she was too UNPREDICTABLE and unwilling to PLAY NICE UNLESS she was being shocked and so she was kept away. But apparently since the man was dead, everything was fine. ❜ I’m SURPRISED they didn’t call in another HANDLER to handle  you instead of hoisting it off on me. I’m just an asset      assets shouldn’t watch other assets, it’s a rule.  ❜
