DEADPOOL:

The returned bump made him stagger theatrically, holding his shoulder. “Ref! Yellow card! Unsportsmanship-like conduct!”

Grumbling, Wade shook himself out before stretching his arms over his head. “Just gotta… limber up,” he explained as he bent at the waist, clearly stalling as he figured out how to get out of this bet.

Claire’s suggestion had him straightening and placing a hand on his hip, a crooked smile outlined against his mask. “Yeah? You shouldn’t tempt me with a good time like that. Come on, have some pity on me… My hands are obviously bigger which changes up the trajectory of my throw. If I make this next one you buy me a waffle cone.”

Claire rolled her eyes. Why she was spending her night with Wade Wilson instead of watching TV or training until her fingers hurt? She didn’t know.  ❜  Oh my god Wilson.  ❜ She groaned. Don’t shoot him. Don’t shoot him.

❜  Would it really be a good time? I’d kick your ass if you did that. ❜ Empty threat fueled by the part of her that enjoyed Wade’s company. She shook her head, a grin stretching across her face, ❜ First off, your hand size doesn’t matter, I learned from people with bigger hands then you, second off, if you can get the next shot, I’ll buy you waffle cones for a week, any time you want. But, if you lose, I want you to buy me pizza for a week. ❜

She knew she was taking a chance, first she’d have to actually spend her money on something stupid like waffle cones if she lost and second, she’d have to spend more time with Wade, but if all things worked out, she might not have to spend any money on dinner for a week. Which was the only reason she was willing to risk things. Free pizza.
