❜ They’re there so I can watch my form. ❜ It sounds crazy, she knows it does, but she’s nothing but paranoid when it comes to make sure her form is perfect as she shoots. After being forced to practice for hours at end when she was first learning to shoot, she wants to make sure she’s never off-form. She holds the bow up, lining it up with the center circle before releasing, hearing the small twang and then picking it up again. She’d probably look less crazy if she actually had her arrows but today was a day where her practice was focused on making sure she hadn’t slacked with her form.
❜ It’s a holdover from when I was first learning to shoot. Buck wanted me to know what I looked like while shooting and so he made me practice over and over again in front of mirrors until I perfected my form. ❜ The words fall out before she really thinks about what she’s saying. She hates mentioning her time in the circus, it’s why she barely does, but to Thor it’s so easy to talk to him that they come out without her permission. ❜ I know it’s a little weird, but hey least with the mirrors up I can see your pretty face while I’m shooting. ❜ The tease is to clear the tight air that surrounds her, the air that always surrounds her whenever she mentions the circus.
