❜ Christmas is… well, it’s a holiday where you get together with family and loved ones and give each other presents and interact with each other where the rest of the year you either ignore them or are too annoyed with them to stand their presences. ❜ Claire shook her head at her own slightly bitter words. There was a better explanation for it, but as one who enjoyed the holiday but felt a little jilted towards it, she wasn’t one to give it. Sighing gently, she stared at the giant tree that was decorated brightly in Rockefeller Center.
She turned her head towards Thor, ❜ It’s a special time of the year, actually. I’m just bitter. There’s religious connotations towards it if you lean that way, but my family ❜ Was she really going to bring up her family holidays just to help Thor understand Christmas? Yeah, yeah, she was. ❜ My family didn’t really care about that. I mean, my dad did force us to go to mass every year but church wasn’t our thing. We mostly sat around the house and waited for Christmas dinner to be done, helping mom wherever we could. ❜ Hiding from their dad in the skirts of their mother.
❜ The best part of the entire thing is decorating. ❜ she said, eyes going back to the tree. She had yet to buy her own for her apartment. Actually all she had done for decorating was putting a string of fairy lights down the steps from the loft. ❜ Wanna help me decorate my apartment? I still got a lot to do and I don’t doubt that Stark will have someone else decorate the Tower. ❜ It was rushed but she wouldn’t mind having someone help her, it would possibly make her drink less while doing it.
